Berkhamsted. There was a requirement to work closely with the consultant tree arborculturalist and structural engineer throughout the ground work process due to the location and position of a significantly large fir tree with a protection order attached.

Our brief/contract was to sympathetically rebuild and repair all of the crumbling dilapidated masonry to the site which included structural walling to barn
buildings, boundary walling, chimney stacks and ornate piers.

detailing with insulation over the rafters to provide feature roofs.
A four bedroom conversion to a large grade 2 listed brick barn within a conservation area in Cambridgeshire. Initially stabilising of the
building was necessary before under pinning operations to the structure as a whole.
Substantial structural support to the existing structure prior to the removal of the dilapidated internal brick walls for re use to extend
and repair the existing buildings were carried out.
Removal of the roof coverings for reinstatement with extensive oak repair work to the rafter, purlin and truss detail. The challenges to
retain the original character of the building were met throughout the construction process with careful detailing.
